Ubud Tour

Ubud is a town on the Indonesian island of Bali in Ubud District, located amongst rice paddies and steep ravines in the central foothills of the Gianyar regency. Promoted as an arts and culture centre, it has developed a large tourism industry. It forms a northern part of the Greater Denpasar metropolitan area (known as Sarbagita).

Ubud is an administrative district (kecamatan) with a population of 74,800 (as of the 2020 Census) in an area of 42.38 km2. The central area of Ubud desa (village) has a population of 11,971 and an area of 6.76 km2, and receives more than three million foreign tourists each year. The area surrounding the town is made up of farms, rice paddies, agroforestry plantations, and tourist accommodations. As of 2018, more tourists visited Ubud than Denpasar to the south. 1. Barong Dance Performance

Barong Dance is a style of traditional Balinese from Bali, Indonesia. The dance demonstrates about the mythological depiction of animals that have supernatural powers and the ability to protect humans. Barong is the king of the spirits, leader of the hosts of good, and the enemy of Rangda, the demon queen and mother of all spirit guarders in the mythological traditions of Bali. The Barong dance featured a battle between Barong and Rangda to represent the eternal battle between good and evil.

2. Luwak Coffee Plantation & Swing

Luwak coffee is very unique in process of making with all the steps are traditionally done, no machine is involved into the process. Luwak is an animal looks like a cat but it has sharper nose and black eyes. Some people call it mongoose. Luwak likes to eat fruits, mostly coffee fruits, papaya, etc. They will eat coffee fruits in the middle of night because they are very active at night time. The coffee fruits that eaten by Luwak will be through the process in the stomach till come out from Luwak poop. After that people, will collect that, because the coffee bean is there and still stick together. They will put it in very hot water to get the coffee bean and dry it under the sun. When it is dry, people will take off the skin or husk of coffee and start the process of making coffee powder. It needs 45 to 1 hour roasting the bean till turning really black color followed by pounding it and filter it before they get very good coffee powder. All the process is traditionally to get very fine quality. Then Enjoy swings adventure with green nature and rice field

3. Tegenungan Waterfall

Tegenungan Waterfall is a waterfall in BaliIndonesia. It is located at the village of Tegenungan Kemenuh, also known as Kemenuh Village on the Petanu River in the Gianyar Regency, north from the capital Denpasar and close to the Balinese artist village of Ubud. The waterfall is isolated but has become a popular tourist attraction. It is one of the few waterfalls in Bali that is not situated in highlands or mountainous territory. The amount and clarity of the water at the site depend on rainfall but it contains green surroundings with fresh water that can be swum in. The waterfall includes varying highs that can be climbed after the descent down stairs to reach it. This attraction also features a viewing point to the jungle and waterfall at the main entrance.

4. Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary

The Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, also known as the Ubud Monkey Forest, is a natural sanctuary located in the village of Padangtegal in Ubud, Bali. The forest covers approximately 12.5 hectares and is home to over 1200 long-tiled macaque monkeys.

4. Tegallalang Rice Terrace

Also known as “Ubud Rice Fields”, Tegalalang Rice Terrace is located north of Ubud, the cultural centre of Bali. It has been cited as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 

The traditional irrigation system is still being used right up to present day. According to history, it was started in the 8th century. The water comes from surrounding rivers & mountains. Farmers had built water canals to allow the water to flow from 1 field to the other. The pathway along the rice terrace is also very narrow.

Tegalalang Rice Terrace is located 600 metres above sea level.
